isthatSFW.com uses OpenSearch so that you can check links without going to isthatSFW.com

Using Google Chrome

Initial Setup

  1. Type isthatsfw.com into your Chrome URL bar and press enter.
  2. Chrome will now remember the OpenSearch settings.

After Setup

  1. Begin typing isthatsfw.com into your Chrome url bar and press tab to complete.

  2. Copy any link into your clipboard (ctrl/cmd+c).
  3. Paste the link you copied (ctrl/cmd+v) into the Chrome URL bar and press Enter.

  4. After a short while, isthatSFW.com will load your checked link.

Using FireFox

Initial Setup

  1. Go to http://isthatSFW.com
  2. Click on the 16x16 pixel icon in the search field and then click "Add isthatSFW.com".

After Setup

  1. Select "Check with isthatSFW" from your Firefox search bar
  2. Copy any link into your clipboard (ctrl/cmd+c).
  3. Paste the link you copied (ctrl/cmd+v) into the search field and press Enter.

  4. After a short while, isthatSFW.com will load your checked link.

Using Safari

Initial Setup

  1. Install the OpenSearch Plugin for Safari (and relaunch Safari)
  2. Go to http://isthatSFW.com
  3. Click on the search Icon with the red indicator.
  4. Click on the blue "Add" Button to add the isthatSFW link checker into your OpenSearch list.

After Setup

  1. Copy any link into your clipboard (ctrl/cmd+c).
  2. Paste the link you copied (ctrl/cmd+v) into the Safari OpenSearch Field
  3. Select "Check with isthatSFW"

  4. After a short while, isthatSFW.com will load your checked link.
